Tourism Industry

We work with state, regional and local tourism organisations to facilitate tailored capability programs & workshops designed specifically for the needs of the operators in their destination.

We're modern-day pioneers of capability training for the tourism industry across Australia, having crafted and delivered over 100 speaking engagements, workshops and masterclasses, across numerous formats, including conferences, forums, standalone workshops and webinars, and tailored mentoring programs since 2012.

Our learning opportunities educate, inspire and empower tourism businesses  to take positive action to deliver exceptional experiences for future travellers, whilst building a sustainable, purpose-led and resilient business.

Paige, Rebecca and Jaclyn were an absolute pleasure to work with, and went out of their way to ensure that our program was suited to the needs of our region and tourism operators.

We engaged the team at The Tourism Collective to create a bespoke tourism mentoring program for our members, specifically designed to target the areas that our tourism operators felt were the most needed. As a destination that relies heavily on tourism, the program was a way for our members to gain an insight into how to enable their small businesses to become more resilient and future-focused, creating experiences that will evolve with the ever-changing tourism landscape, and best practice collaboration with neighbouring businesses. Paige, Rebecca and Jaclyn were an absolute pleasure to work with, and are clearly passionate about what they do, and experienced in their individual fields, which made the experience of our participants a positive one.

Our capability to deliver insightful, compelling and equally practical learning journeys for industry has naturally evolved over the last 10 years.

We pride ourselves on delivering contemporary content with a focus on distilling complex information into insights that are meaningful for businesses that are operating in an ever-changing landscape.

We see this as essential to 'lift the bar' to ensure we are supporting the development of resilient and thriving tourism businesses, organisations and communities into the future.

We care about the outcomes, it's not a tick box exercise for us.

As training facilitators, our key priority is to ensure we share our learnings in a way to get the very best outcomes for participants.

We understand that current operating conditions have restricted business owners’ ability to attend training so it's critical to ensure the way in which we deliver the learning is relevant, inspiring, and fills them with confidence to apply their new knowledge.

We prioritise engagement & action, above all else.

We care about delivering the right content in the most relevant way, so that each participant feels empowered, and enthusiastic about the future of their business.

To deliver outcomes, we use facilitation techniques to get participants actively engaging in their learning, which encourages agile thinking (not just sitting taking notes!). We do this by involving participants in group think activities that support the process of collaboration and co-creation of solutions.

We also embed plenty of opportunities for natural conversations to thrive, as often this is when the best ideas are generated!
